The No War Zone

by mark last modified 2009-11-17 09:55

Please Note:

At the height of the war in 2009 we started to broadcast our weekly series under the title “Sri Lanka Today”. Now, we find it only fitting to revert to our original title – “No War Zone”, since that is where we have arrived today.

The No War Zone provides in-depth analysis of important issues related to coexistence, reconciliation and peace building post-war Sri Lanka. With reports covering the experiences and challenges of living in a diverse, multi-ethnic country, The No War Zone has come to be known for featuring both the country’s celebrity stakeholders and a variety of lesser-known yet critical voices so that their views too can be seen and heard.

Initially launched in 2003 with support from the Swiss Development Corporation, the No War Zone seeks to inform, educate and engage Sri Lankans in the search for a sustainable, peaceful future acceptable to all communities.
